Yoga unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension and promotes health and well being. Regular practice improves your breathing and outlook on life.
Juliet offers two very different styles of yoga to suit every body: yoga for beginners, yin yoga and vinyasa yoga
'Vinyasa' means to place in a special way. Vinyasa style of yoga is continually moving and flowing throughout the class. It is a style of modern yoga created by K. Pattabhi Jois during the 20th century. The style is hot and energetic, synchronising breath with movements. This style originates from classical Indian yoga forms.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of modern yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Yin Yoga originates from Taoist Yoga. It has deep connections to Chinese medicine, meridian lines and the flow of Qi in the body. Yin Yoga has been developed for the west by leading practitioners Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers.
